Kim Berjian
Kim Berjian is a retired CPA who worked as a Tax Director and registered lobbyist for two global Oil and Gas companies for over 28 years. She was the Vice-President of Canadian Affairs for the Tax Executives Institute (TEI) and Chair of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) Indirect Tax committee.
She has been the recipient of numerous awards from both her organizations and external institutions in recognition of her exceptional leadership across projects.
Currently, Kim is a director of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra board and is a member of the Finance and Audit committee. She previously was Vice Chair for Mount Royal University Foundation and a member of the Governance committee and Chair of the Finance committee. She was also on the board of West Island College and lead the fund development committee.
Kim believes it is very important to give back to the community. She has extensive experience in fundraising events. She was the Vice Chair for Contemporary Calgary LOOK Gala. She was also on the fundraising committees for the Calgary Health Foundation, YWCA YWhisper Gala, Calgary Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation, Calgary Stampede Foundation, Renfrew Educational Services and the Famous 5 Foundation.
