Discover the story of Alberta Slim, a talented musician whose legacy reached far beyond the stage. Known for his unique career, Alberta Slim also owned a circus, trained animals and had a successful business career, making his story unique.
Explore the CTV Country Music Hall exhibit and uncover the artists, stories and defining moments that helped shape country music in Canada, leaving a lasting impact on generations of music lovers.
VinylCentric is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Don’t miss out, admission is free.

Calgary Stampede - Taste of Stampede
July 3 to 12 | BMO Centre
Taste of Stampede introduces new culinary experiences that celebrate the creativity, competition and local flavours that make Alberta’s food scene so unique. Throughout the festival, talented chefs take centre stage as they transform fresh local ingredients into innovative dishes through live cooking demonstrations, head-to-head chef battles, community cookoffs and the highly anticipated Culinary Cup competition.
Adding to the experience, Ellen Parker will join the event as an MC and panel host, guiding conversation throughout the festival while bringing energy and insight to discussions celebrating Alberta’s vibrant culinary community.

Renee Gould - Western Oasis Stampede Exhibit

Visit Renee Gould in the Western Oasis at the BMO Centre during Stampede. Explore a collection of western artwork inspired by the stories and folk legends of the cowgirl. Her work draws influence from the women who came before us.
Renee Gould is a local known for her contemporary western artwork that celebrates rural life, storytelling through pieces that reflect both tradition and modern western culture.
