CALGARY PHIL - ALBERTA IN HARMONY: MOVING MAHLER

November 10 | Jack Singer Concert Hall

You've heard of the Battle of Alberta, but Calgary Phil is pleased to present the Ballad of Alberta. Gustav Mahler’s epic Third Symphony embodies his vision that “A symphony must be like the world. It must embrace everything.” And what better way to convey its profound evolution — from awakening to enlightenment to love — than the combined forces of the Calgary Philharmonic and the Edmonton Symphony orchestras, plus the magnificent voices of mezzo-soprano Susan Platts, the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus and Calgary Girls Choir. Tickets are available online.
