YOUTH SINGERS OF CALGARY - SILENT AUCTION

As part of HEARTS OUT, the Youth Singers of Calgary are holding an exciting silent auction and the good news is you don't have to be at the event to participate! YYC FOOD & DRINK EXPERIENCE - 10 DAYS OF DELECTABLE DINING

Meet the Rancher at Modern Steak! DAVE WERKLUND - UNCONVENTIONAL

One of Alberta’s most successful entrepreneurs, Dave Werklund, is releasing a new book that outlines his incredible life’s journey growing up in rural Northern Alberta and his dedication to industry-leading work as an environmentalist in the province’s oil patch. His autobiography, titled “Unconventional: The Story of An Entrepreneurial Environmentalist Inside Alberta's Oil and Gas Industry,” details Werklund’s early days in Valleyview, Alberta before leaving school in Grade 9 to begin an entrepreneurial life, and ultimately building a multi-billion-dollar company focused on cleaning up oil field waste and pioneering environmental protection techniques. We have had the pleasure of reading Unconventional and highly recommend it. There is great advice on being a leader and entrepreneur. Mark your calendar for March 14 and be sure to pick up a copy!

SOULS FOR SISTERS - PERSONAL HYGIENE DRIVE

Personal hygiene products for women and children are in high demand. We have partnered with the Couillard Group to launch the inaugural Souls for Sisters campaign supporting the Brenda Strafford Foundation’s Home Heart Network. We are accepting donations of sanitary and personal hygiene products for women and children. Donations can be dropped off at our office or (1122a Kensington Rd NW) or the Couillard Group office (999 8 St. SW #715)
