Vintage Moschino - CELEBRATING A CELEBRITY STYLIST AND FRIEND JENNIE WALKER

We met Jennie in Palm Springs at a designer vintage pop up at the synagogue. She shared her collections and their stories with us. In 1988 Moschino created the iconic Channel Number Five T-shirt as a mockery of elitism that can come with designer brands and Chanel sued them. In retaliation to the lawsuit, Moschino then created this very cool jacket. Chanel vibes with gold safety pins. Ellen loves @chanelofficial and loves incorporating a bit of edge to her usually classic style, so Jennie insisted this jacket come home with her.

Ellen will see her in New York City in a few weeks and looks forward to more stories! Fashion history is one of our favourite topics and we can’t wait to learn more. Hugo and Ellen had fun chatting about it on our PR THE PR podcast.

The last set of photos are of some of her clients including @juliaroberts wearing vintage Moschino.

First pic: Julia Roberts (wearing Jennie’s vintage Moschino and Kenneth Jay Lane brooches)

Second pic: Sabrina Carpenter (wearing Jennie’s vintage Lillie Robin suit)

Third pic: vocal voice actors for HUNTR/X from left to right Rei Ami, Ejae and Audrey Nuna (Audrey is wearing Jennie’s vintage Moschino gown)

Consignment & Estate Services - THE JENNIE WALKER ARCHIVE

The hunt for rare archival pieces is now dominating the industry of fashion and retail. The Jennie Walker Archive works with consignors around the country, traveling to the estate and evaluating vintage clothing, shoes and accessories to determine what we can offer for sale through our consignment, rental or estate liquidation services.

The team works with a network of costume designers, stylists and vintage dealers who are eager to purchase from our sales.  They also work with numerous online vendors to list our consignment items, opening them up to a global customer base and giving them the opportunity to find a new home. High profile items like handbags, jewelry and luggage by brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton sell quickly and tend to be out-of-state or out-of-country clientele. Affiliated with a premier estate jewelry company, the luxury jewelry program means they can offer cash buyouts for jewelry and watches.

Having offered these services for several years, their consignors and buyers have become a part of our fashion family! If you have any questions, get in touch and learn more about the brands Jennie takes and their consignment process.
